Once home to the distillation, production and blending of all our perfumes, the Bastide has now become a museum, bearing witness to the House's savoir-faire. The course of the visit is punctuated by the different stages of perfume creation, where each room conceals collector's items, antique machines and surprising infrastructures that make up the House's heritage.
The free 25-minute tour is available every 20 minutes, from 10am to 12pm and from 2pm to 5pm.
Audio guides are available in English, French, Spanish, Italian and German.
Free parking is available just 200 metres from La Bastide.
The Maison Molinard makes a point of selecting its raw materials, with particular emphasis on rare, noble and natural ingredients, sourced from Grasse and around the world.
You'll enter the majestic Molinard distillery, a unique metal structure designed by the famous Gustave Eiffel. Amidst the copper stills, you'll learn about the various techniques used to extract the natural materials used in the composition of Molinard Perfumes!
Since the 1920s, La Maison Molinard has been making its vegetable oil-based soaps, available in a wide range of fragrances and colors. The Savonnerie welcomes an astonished and delighted public to witness this authentic production process in the heart of the Bastide!

Once the composition of a perfume is complete, it's time for maceration! The perfume concentrate must rest in specific vats, for varying lengths of time depending on the fragrance, before being bottled.
Once your visit to the museum is over, extend your journey through the Maison Molinard by discovering the Bastide boutique.
Toilets and a hot and cold drinks dispenser are available to customers.
